Helsinki Cricket Club est. 1972
The association’s purpose is to promote cricket within Helsinki region, within youngsters, school children and adults in Helsinki area and to support the wider development of cricket as a nationally organised competitive sport in Finland. To fulfil its purpose, the association will:
- Participate each season in the Finnish National Cricket Leagues and in any such competitions and matches as may from time to time.
- Organise local coaching and training sessions to develop the cricketing skills of young players and provide equal opportunity, regardless of gender, ethnicity, race or religion.
- Organise cricket demonstrations, courses and social events.
- Promote the development of wider interest of cricket within Finland by supporting organised Cricket within Finland, by coaching, by organising leagues, or an event or activity related to Cricket in Finland.

Corporate Events, Coaching and Trainings
Helsinki cricket club has been organising on demand cricket coaching and training events for interested groups, and have even organised cricket themed company events which include, demonstrations, cricket coaching sessions and fun and friendly games between the participants. If you are interested in reaching out to us to help arrange a similar event for you, we would be happy to assist with all the practicalities, equipment, facility bookings, and will also provide qualified coaches to make it a successful event.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Anyone who is interested in playing or learning to play cricket is very welcome to join our club.
The club offers three types of memberships:
Full Member (Employed): Member has the possibility to take part in competitive tournaments, weekly training within the club and also social activities.
Full Member (Financial Aid / Minors) : Member has the possibility to take part in competitive tournaments, weekly training within the club and also social activities. Fees are subsidised by the club as per the AGM agreements and it is available only to students who are not earning yet or minors.
Social Member : Member has the possibility to take part in the weekly training and also in all social activities. But NOT allowed to play in the tournaments.
Note :Every member who wants to play in Finnish Cricket Association (FCA) officiated league matches must purchase a players license and optionally player’s insurance from the license portal at Suomisports.fi
PS: The fee and other costs are revised on a year by year basis as decided in the club AGM
TRAINING LOCATIONS
HCC’s home ground is situated at the Käpyla Sports Park. This is the place where we often have our weekly trainings and also play our SM40 Division home league matches. Premier League matches are played at the Kerava National Cricket stadium. During winters or starting November onwards we train every week at Myllypuro Pallomylly indoor training facility.
