Anil Sood :-
A right arm middle order batsman and a medium fast bowler. Anil has represented HCC from 1999 to 2009. Unfortunately Anil passed away because of lung cancer in 2010. Anil has represented HCC in many roles like Captain, Vice captain etc. Under his captaincy HCC won many leagues and tournaments.Anil aka Sunny was famous for its cricketing thinking and captaincy in the field.
John Cole :-
A right arm opening batsman from England who looked good in attack and defence, John was the first man to score 1000 plus runs in Finland and the first to score a century in 1982. A great driver off the front foot John played with power on both sides of the wicket and in full flow could take on any attack at that time. He was also a fearless fielder with the maximum catches for the club (25) He has top scored for the club in three consecutive years from 1981 -83 .

Ira Ebanks :-
The first man to pick up 100 plus wickets for HCC, Ira remains the highest wicket taker and the most successful bowler to date for Helsinki. Ira could generate considerable pace in true West Indian tradition of yesteryears and with his dangerous outswinger had batsmen in all sorts of trouble. Ira continues to act as a mentor apart from being part of the Committee guiding the current team actively both on and off the field. He has been the clubs leading wicket taker 5 years in 1974 (25), 1978, 1979, 1980 and in 1983.

Steve Lauz :-
Perhaps the finest natural talented player yet to have played for Helsinki, Steve Lauz of Jamaican and German descent learned his cricket in Jamaica. A fine fast bowler and a hard hitting batsman, Steve could turn a match on its head with the ball or bat.

Richard Walker :-
Technically one of the soundest batsman during the 80’s with a wide array of strokes and a solid defence. Was an accurate quick-medium bowler too who could bowl slow offspin too.

An attacking left handed batsman and energetic fielder, ‘Fred’ as Bjarne is known has been one of Helsinki Cricket Clubs leading batsmen

Francis Looby :-
Another founder-member, Francis Looby was an allrounder a medium pacer who could move the ball in the air and off the pitch and a middle order batsman specialising in wristy shots off the back foot.A specialist cover fielder, Francis was one of the livewires in the field with quick reflexes and a safe pair of hands.

Keith Murden :-
Stylish left hander and useful medium pace bowler, Keith found form with the bat in first year of the formation of HCC making 198 runs in four games including a 74 in the club’s first game in Stockholm against Danish Club Frem.
Sanjeev Kad:-
Sanjeev joined HCC in 1996. He played very actively till 2004. He used to be a Leg-spinner and was adjudged Best Bowler of the league in the first ever Organised League organised by FCA in the year 1999-2000. Represented Finland in Austria for an ECC (European Cricket Council - now, ICC-Europe) tournament in 2001. Took up umpiring after that and passed ACU&S Introductory, Level 1 and eventually Overseas exam in 2003. He has upmired in many European tournaments since 2001 and officiated European Div 1, 2, 3 and 4. In addition, U-19 World Cup Qualifier in 2004 and WCL (World Cricket League) Div 5 in 2008. Sanjeev has been on the ICC European Elite Panel since its inception in 2007. Qualified as an Umpire's Tutor through ICC Europe last year in January. Sanjeev has been a member and Vice-Chairman of FCA from 2004-2007. Have also been the Chairman of the National Team Selection Committee for many years. Sanjeev chaired HCC from 2004 onwards till 2010.
Vinayak Bhere:-
Stylish Right hander and usually opens the innings for HCC.He's famous for his cover drive and square cut.In 2004 he was one of the main performers for HCC.Also a handy medium fast bowler and a quick fielder. Vinayak left Finland in 2006.
Ketan Sawhney:-
A left arm leg spinner and a cool finisher of the innings.He started cricket just few years ago in 2003 and in a short span of time he has improved a lot. Ketan also left Finland in 2007.
Ashutosh Updyay:-
Ashutosh seems to be the twin brother of Sachin Tendulkar.His style, aggressiveness and cracking shorts bears a resemblence with Sachin.A right handed Batsman,medium pace bowler and a quick fielder.Ashutosh scored the highest number of runs in FCA league 2005.He's the guy who took most of the awards home in the same year.All in all an allrounder package.Ashutosh left finland in 2006.
Abbas Khan:-
A good allrounder and one of the best fielders in Finland.
Abbas is a very quick and wicket taking bowler.
Shahid Ranjha:-
A Right arm batsman who usually opens the innings for HCC. Shahid is also a very good wicket keeper
Rakesh Bhasker:-
Stylish middle order batsman and good spinner of the ball. Rakesh is one of the senior guys in HCC.
Dan Taavitasinen:-
A stylish left hander, strong in midwicket area.Quick and famous for cheeky singles.
Manoj Walia:-
A good Right arm spin bowler and a middle order batsman. He's very good in building the innings, and a good economical bowler.
HCC Veterans are the old/founder club members who have represented HCC at some point of time.
These members have provided considerable effort and time to improve the club from time to time. Without them this club would not exist.
