History Of the Club
Helsinki Cricket Club (HCC) is the oldest cricket club in Finland. It has been graced with a history of fine cricketers who have not only contributed to the sport of cricket in Finland but have passed on the mantle of the undying spirit of cricket down to the present day HCC ‘tigers’.It is no wonder that with such a fine pedigree of players in the past, the Club continues to draw on their experiences and churn out champions of the game, whether on the field or off the field. HCC got the official club status in 1972 and since then there is no looking back. HCC has a reputation of being a multicultured club with the members from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.It has been served by members of nationalities like Finland, India, Pakistan, England, Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka etc.
